Product Description RSS-II Rubber Rolling Resistance Tester adopt rotary power loss machine mechanism: At a given load,the wheel-like rubber sample assumes a constant-speed movement relative to the wheel,under pressure load,the surface of the rubber sample in contact with the wheel deforms, and the deformation increases gradually from the point of contact to the middle point; then the deformation gradually decreases from the middle point to rach zero at the departure point.because of the viscoelastic properties of various rubber formulations, the sum of force during deformation from the point of contact to the middle point is greater than the sum of force during reformation from the middle point to the departure point, this force parallel to the force of load is the power loss value of the rubber sample(J/r). Thereby the rolling resistance of the rubber formulation can be indicated.
